The space is filled with water; the living keep to pockets of air or breathe it.
Bukpu holds a wreck larger than a continent in that space. The dimensional fabric here is thin enough for gates to open easily. About 38,131 people live on the stone spires above; each household owns more land than a town elsewhere does.
Class
INFINITE. Like our own universe: no edge has ever been reached.
Medium
It holds the wreck of something that fell here, larger than a continent.
Premise
Time runs at the same rate as at the Dimensional Station. About 38,131 people live here; each household holds more land than a town elsewhere does. Most native life is poisonous to eat. Farming means imported crops in guarded soil.
The Gate
The gate sits on stone spires at Kpelo. It is large enough for cargo ships. Recruiters wait outside the walled entrance. Every arrival is questioned before entry. Judges decide access to the D-Station sector. Passage costs ten credits a head and a thousand a hull. Cargo goes free. A drone meets any arrival carrying a weapon. The greeting always opens with these two sentences: "There is no violence in the Dimensional Station. Violent offenders will be removed."
01
The Land
The land is a field of stone spires, with settlements built between the tops on bridges. Light comes from near stars that crowd the night sky for navigation. A shadow rises from the water and chokes the air before falling on a traveler. Food consists of imported crops grown in guarded soil. Ambient power floods weather, animals and any unwary person.
The decline of the dimension makes the ground heavy in places where it was once solid.

02
The Gate
Kpelo sits between the tops of the stone spires. Nakwi holds the walled entrance where recruiters wait. Meitakpo guards the soil for imported farming crops. Wumefem serves as a landing zone for cargo ships. Fakpei stands near the gate that leads to sector 1.
A fight comes within a year between the breeders and the recruiters who wait at the gate.

03
The Rules
Judges rule; there is no law but their rulings, collected and argued over. Breed lines of animals sold through the gate remain guarded secrets for the households. No technology is allowed by law. The ban is enforced harder than any other rule. Any person carrying a weapon meets a drone before they step onto the gate floor.
04
The Danger
Someone is trying to buy control of the gate outright. The breeders guard their stock while the recruiters want the people as workers.
